Payments and ATMs

In Macedonia, cash is still king — and especially so at Matka. Kayak rentals, boat trips, and most things at the canyon are cash only. We are also a cash-only business, though we can accept bank transfer or PayPal if you prefer.

There's an ATM nearby (next to the Fresh Bar) if you need to take out cash [link to location]. 

On currency: don't exchange money at the airport as the rates there are poor! Exchange offices in Skopje and around Matka typically offer a better exchange rate, around 61.2 MKD per euro. That said, most places (around 95%) accept euros directly.
